hey guy got it build and it's got a hell of a fireball.. shot great .. lot's of work.. but it can be done so here some pics of my new baby boy...on to my next project (51SD)

Where did you get the SW pistol receiver and how much. Since it was a pistol receiver it didn't have to be classed as an AOW or SBR - right???

that's right it's a pistol rec .... got it from todd at sw.. he had it mark pistol... no aow or sbr thank god Ive pay tax to the atf 7 time ...the rec cost me $150.00 it's mark psw3

Sent you an e-mail. I have a bunch of questions on the specs and figured I'd ask here so all could learn from it. Our local DTF could really use something like that, they're running into felons with surplus/stolen military body armor.

Did you wind up using a G3K locking piece, and if so, where did you buy it?

What's the carrier length?

How long is the recoil rod?

Length of cocking extension?

THE G3K LOCKING SHOULDER IS THE TRICK... THERE ARE SOME OTHER TRICK'S TO BUILDING ONE OF THESE.. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A REG SEAR . DO NOT PUT A K GRIP ON IT. ATF REG.....JUST PUT A SP89 GRIP... WILL POST MORE PICS SOON.

I talked to a local ffl (class 3) about getting one of the pistol receivers from SW. He said I didn't need to, that as long as it was a new receiver that had never been built and I could document that, that all I had to do was register it with the local police as a pistol then build it. He also suggested welding a pin or something similar to the receiver then notching the end cap so a regular butstock could not fit on it and engraving "Pistol" on the receiver. Does anybody know if this is correct? Sure would like to legally build one of those!
